TOUR OVERVIEW:
The Natural Hydrology system of the Tempisque River creates the perfect conditions to generate in the zone the most important concentration of birds in the country and Central America. This is a bird watchers paradise as well as the perfect spot to see lots of crocodiles, howler and cappuccino monkeys on the riverside and reptiles. After a delicious typical lunch you will pass by the famous artisan’s village of Guaitil and learn about the Chorotega Indians and can watch the artist as they make the pottery, heritage from our Pre-Columbian ancestors and why not get a souvenir back to home.
